Background - Citizens who are interested in trails in Newberg and Dundee are eligible to apply to serve on Chehalem Heritage Trails Citizens' Advisory Committee during the initial application window (This window is currently closed). Terms are for two years. This volunteer committee is limited to seven members, five who reside in the district, and two who live outside its boundaries. (CPRD approximately covers Newberg and Dundee; the boundary map is available on the CPRD website at cprdnewberg.org.) While each advisory committee determines its own meeting schedule, committees typically meet once a month and occasionally outside of meetings for special events.
