Kindergarten Readiness Program
The Kindergarten Readiness program is available for children entering kindergarten in the fall of 2024.
This summer preschool program will give your young ones the opportunity to learn new things, meet new friends and gain memorable experiences that they will cherish forever.
WHEN DOES KINDERGARTEN READINESS TAKE PLACE?
8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays
June 10th through August 16th, 2024
Note: Kindergarten Readiness will not take place on Wednesday, June 19, and Tuesday, July 4th.
The graduation ceremony is tentatively scheduled for August 11th at Bob and Crystal Rilee Park on Parrett Mt.

Fee Structure
$600 for Newberg and Dundee residents
$650 for Out-Of-District participants

Full-Day Daycare/Summer Childcare
Do you need childcare outside of preschool times? We offer childcare from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. Children enrolled in both programs receive a 20% discount for Summer Childcare.

This course focuses on early childhood education and skill building. We will focus on the specific skills needed to navigate kindergarten successfully. Our summer curriculum includes:
• Recognizing and writing your child’s name;
• Letter recognition, writing, and sounds;
• Numbers zero to 20;
• Shapes and colors;
• Fine motor skills development;
• Classroom etiquette;
• and how to rock “Cap and Gown” during graduation.
