This complex at Crater Park is in a four-field cloverleaf configuration with 300' fences. Fields are fully irrigated and conducive to all levels of youth and adult softball play. Two fields are lighted. The concourse is covered with safety netting. Hours are dawn to dusk.
Crater Park was dedicated in 1999. It honors the extraordinary life of Antonia Crater, who passed away in December 1993 at age 95, and who was one of the original organizers of Chehalem Park and Recreation District.
Born in Germany, Antonia moved to the United States with her family in 1903.
