Work begins on Friends' Park

Anyone who is interested is encouraged to attend the neighborhood meeting at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4th at the CPRD Administration Office.
Ground broke on Friends' Park in the middle of August, 2019. Grading is underway this week (Aug. 13). Next, a water line will be extended into the park, walking paths will be carved, and the irrigation system will be installed. This phase of work will likely last through the remainder of the dry summer season.
The next steps to follow will be to construct the basketball court, and finally, add playground equipment. The timetable for these final phases will depend on many factors.
The Friends' Park Playground Committee will continue to meet behind the scenes as the work progresses.
