The Budget Committee approved the proposed 2024 - 25 budget with edits (posted at right and bottom) at its annual meeting on April 9, 2024.

BUDGET COMMITTEE
The Budget Committee includes ten people: the elected Board of (five) Directors, plus five committee members whom the Board appoints. Terms are three years. In order to be eligible to serve on the committee, a candidate must be a U.S. citizen, a registered voter, and live within the geographic boundaries of the District. All citizen ad hoc committees must agree to the committee policies adopted by the CPRD Board of Directors on Jan. 25, 2024 (See document at bottom and at right.).

June	BOARD ADOPTS BUDGET, RESOLUTIONS: TO MAKE APPROPRIATIONS, IMPOSE & CATEGORIZES TAXES
	Submit documents to County clerk & assessor as appropriate

Citizen Budget Committee Members & Terms
At its Jan. 25, 2024 meeting, the Board of Directors appointed the four continuing committee members who had confirmed willingness and availability to serve. At its Feb. 22, 2024 meeting, the Board appointed Brian Keyser.
