Online water safety course: Longfellow WHALE Tales by American Red Cross

May is National Water Safety Month. Have fun all month long by learning about water safety through the online course Longfellow’s WHALE Tales by American Red Cross, and earn a certificate from CPRD.

Children ages kindergarten to 5th grade (Grown ups are welcome, too): Join Chehalem Aquatic & Fitness Center and Longfellow Whale for an online series of water safety lessons. Our first lesson will begin on Friday, May 1st. New lessons will appear on this webpage each Tuesday and Thursday throughout the month of May. For each lesson, watch the video and complete the activity sheets. There are nine lessons total. Successfully complete all nine, and you can apply for a course completion certificate (to be picked up at the aquatic center).
