Don Loving

HONORARY BOARD MEMBER FOR LIFE

One of CPRD's longest-running Board members, Forest Grove native Don Loving has a long history with CPRD, including coaching youth sports and participating in basketball and softball leagues. Don was also a driving force behind the creation and development of the Chehalem Glenn Golf Course. 

Don graduated from University of Oregon with a B.S. in journalism and served as a radio news director and sports newspaper editor at the Newberg Graphic.

Don is an elected member of the Deacon Board and treasurer of Family Life Church in Newberg.

Don and Anna Loving married in 1984 and have two adult children, Michael and Elizabeth.

On June 27, 2024, the Board passed Resolution 07-01-24 recognizing Don Loving as an Honorary Board Member for Life* and recognizing him as a friend and teammate to CPRD. 

* Honorary Board members are entitled to attend meetings and participate in Board discussions, but are not eligible to vote.
