Bart Rierson

Appointed and served 2014 - 2023. Elected 2015.

Bart Rierson joined the Board in January, 2014 (to complete the term vacated by Larry Anderson).

He works as Western Territory Sales Manager for In-Place Machining Company.

Bart has been resident of Newberg since 1987. He is also currently serving on the Willamette Riverkeeper Board of Directors. He served as a Newberg City Councilor from 2006 through 2015.

Bart has been involved with CPRD for years, serving as a CPRD Budget Committee and volunteer. He served as project manager for the Ford Family Leadership Class Chehalem Paddle Launch project, which has become the CPRD Chehalem Paddle Launch. He says his favorite CPRD projects are the Chehalem Paddle Launch and Chehalem Heritage Trails.

Bart's prior Civic involvement activities include Newberg City Council, Newberg Planning Commission, Newberg Downtown Revitalization Committee, City of Newberg Budget Committee, Newberg City Club Member, Graduate of Chamber of Commerce and Ford Family Leadership programs.

Bart and his wife Mischelle have a son named Zachary and a daughter named Melissa.
