Chehalem Aquatic and Fitness Center opens to more patrons and offers more under High Risk

Effective March 1

With Yamhill County downgrading to High Risk category, Chehalem Aquatic and Fitness Center will be offering more activities and amenities. Safety is our top priority; mask or full faceshield wearing and social distancing at 6' are required, and COVID precautions will continue to be taken throughout the facility; please visit our website to familiarize yourself with full details on the protocols and precautions we have in place before your welcome return.

Memberships suspended due to the COVID closure will be honored. Drop-in fees are available for non-members.

Beginning the week of March 1, the Mark Martin Fitness Area will continue to be open on a drop-in basis. The new maximum number of people who will be admitted into the weight room increases to 15; the cardio row to five. The sport court area has a limit of 50.

Group Fitness classes which will resume (on Tuesday and Thursday afternoon and evening, beginning March 2) are Barre Fusion and Zumba. Participation will be on a drop-in basis only; no reservations are required. Where applicable, bring your own mat.

Lap swim will continue on a reservation basis in the Jim McMaster Competition Pool, and the maximum number of persons admitted into that pool increases to 13.

Registration is open for spring break swim lessons and lifeguard training.

We anticipate reopening the leisure pool the week of March 8; we will release more details on that as the time nears.
