Hours are daily, 7 a.m. to dusk

Large Dogs section of Dog Park closed April 22 - 23 (Thursday and Friday) 2021 for maintenance. 

Please be sure your dog is healthy, and puppy's first complete set of vaccinations up to date, before taking him/her to the dog park, for the safety of all.

The dog park features a fenced open area for dogs of all sizes. The park is approximately two acres, split into two sections - one for large dogs and one for small and shy dogs. The fenced area is off-leash. There are large oak logs to keep dogs interested and for owners to sit. Water is available. There is a station for waste collection materials and disposal.

The dog park opened Dec. 6, 2010.

 

Off-leash Dog Park Rules

  • Use the park at your own risk. Owners are responsible and liable for injury or damage inflicted by their dogs.
  • Remain in site and voice control of your dog at all times.
  • You must immediately remove your dog from the park if it is aggressive or misbehaving.
  • Keep dogs on leash outside designated off-leash areas.
  • LEASH dogs while entering and exiting the dog park. Carry a leash for each dog in your care.
  • Do not allow dogs to dig.
  • Unattended dogs are not allowed at any time.
  • Closely supervise young children. Unsupervised children under the age of 12 may not be in the off-leash area.
  • Accept responsibility for any damage or injury caused by your dog.
  • Bring no more than three dogs to the off-leash area at any time
  • Dog owners must be in the dog park area and within view of their dogs.
  • Do not bring a dog in heat into any district park.
  • All dogs must be vaccinated. Do not bring a puppy without a complete cycle of vaccinations to any district park. Dogs less than 4 months of age are not allowed in the park.
  • Display tags showing proof of current license and rabies vaccinations on all dogs.
  • Dog feces must be cleaned up by owners. Biodegradable bags are available for your use. Deposit feces in trash can provided.
  • Comply with all other park rules.
  • Remove prong or spike collars while in the dog park.
  • Please be courteous to neighbors and control excessive barking.
  • No food or drink (dog or human) allowed in the dog park.
