Aquatic Center maintenance alerts Aug. 27 - Sept. 6

We are announcing some scheduled maintenance interruptions to environmental operations at Chehalem Aquatic and Fitness Center. Please bear with us as we make some mechanical changes in order to improve the operation of this building.

Monday, Aug. 27th - tentatively beginning at 7 a.m., showers will not have heat, and the spa temperature will probably drop. This is because we are conducting maintenance on the heating loop. These issues should be resolved later the same day.

Tuesday, Aug. 28th - expect possible air temperature issues, as we upgrade dehumidifiers.

Some repairs may or may not last farther into the week. We will strive to keep you updated.

Thursday, Sept. 6 – The facility will be closed all day. Business hours 
                                                                                         at the registration desk will be 5:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

"We all wish for the building to operate perfectly the first day it is open, but with pools that is never the case. We are making changes only to try to make things better in the future. I appreciate our patrons’ understanding," said Jim McMaster, Project Manager.
